In light of the Halloween season, we had our annual neighourhood Tham Team Pumpkin Giveaway yesterday and Simon's Halloween treats were a hit with the neighbours! Just a disclaimer- this post has virtually nothing to do with real estate and more to do with Simon's fantastic hosting skills.
If you're looking for some ideas for a Halloween party or you just want to make these for fun- here's some of the pictures of Simon's best creations.
These are pumpkin shaped hummous dips with shredded carrot and green onion as the stem. The Jack O'Lantern face is made of olives.
Monster teeth made of apple slivers, natural peanut butter and almond slivers.
Graveyard dip- I think this was the most underrated dish, it tastes much better than it looks (the chips are meant to be headstones). Made of salsa, sour cream, refried beans, avocado and tortilla chips.
These Hot Dog Mummies were definitely the most popular- if we had made 3 more batches that would probably still not have been enough! The ones in the picture above were just about to go in the oven, but when they're actually done they have little mustard eyes. Made with half a hot dog, and draped in Crescent Rolls dough.
Happy Halloween and thanks to our neighbours for joining us yesterday!!
